The prime minister’s new 15-point program covers (1) enhancing opportunities for education, (2) equitable share in economic activities and employment, (3) improving the conditions of living of minorities, and (4) prevention and control of communal riots. It was also decided that 15 percent of the funds may be earmarked wherever possible in relevant schemes and programs for the nationally declared minorities.
